I talked with some amazing people! Social connections is the KEY! I talked with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.travelswithcharlie.com\/\">Charlie Wittmack<\/a> (Friend of my Cousin\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s). He climbed Mount Everest. I guess he is going to be doing a world triathelon now! Another I talked to is the superintendent of Van Meter Schools, John Carver. They have implemented 1:1 laptop program that is going well. We hope to get one of those going here in Nevada as well. The first two were speakers. I also talked more with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.drzreflects.com\/\">Leigh Zeitz<\/a>. Leigh is an Associate Professor of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uni.edu\/coe\/ci\/tech\/index.shtml\">Instructional Technology<\/a> Division \u00e2\u20ac\u201c <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uni.edu\/coe\/ci\/\">Dept. of Curriculum &amp; Instruction<\/a> at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uni.edu\">UNI<\/a>. I also met up with a High School Junior from Cedar Rapids. Tanner is interested in futuristic technology where humans interact MORE with each other (face-to-face) with technology. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m hoping to get Tanner a tour over at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iastate.edu\">ISU<\/a>\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s <a href=\"http:\/\/vrac.iastate.edu\/\">VRAC<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/hci.iastate.edu\/\">HCI<\/a>. I think that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ted.com\/\">Tedx<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/igniteshow.com\/\">Ignite<\/a> are GREAT ways to get your social network built up and interact with other\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s who carry the same interest as you do!
